Kimberly Ovitz and Peter Som Fall 2012 RTW
Black and white are classic chic colors that are very hard for designers to steer clear from. However, in my opinion that is not such a bad thing. With black and white being my favorite colors, I find that pieces are more flattering and desirable to the eye when dabbed with their richness. Kimberly Ovitz used the dark black tones on her pieces that included a lot of draping and flowing pieces. Peter Som used the bright white and bold black to add structure to revamp classic pieces such as the leather pants and the button down white shirt. Not to my surprise both designers did an amazing job.
