RIP To The Girl You Used To See
A new chapter is starting to emerge in my life and the routine that I have gotten to know is slowly dwindling away. With one of my classes being over, I have filled up that space with trying to be productive toward that next stage in my life. I have grown so much as a person, that it's as if the person I used to be no longer exist. Just a couple of years ago I was trying to live a life I felt was inside "the box". Whether it was the standards, suggestions, or persuasion of others, I tried to not tip-toe out of what was considered the norm. With moving however, I have grown and come to the realization that living life outside the box and a little on the edge is worthwhile and I would not have it any other way. I have learned to not be weighed down by the opinions of others but to be the best I can be. Living life to the fullest will bring out a totally different side of you that you have never seen. Holding in because of the fear of ridicule, judgement and shame is just not worth regrets and what if's. I have this one life to live and I'm not going to be reserved for anyone. I have never been that fond of being stagnant, and neither should you. Some might ridicule and say that "I've changed" but I simply say that as long as it's a positive change, so be it.
