Stripes And The City!

 On this cool, early spring day, I was excited to spend time in the City with my friend Ira and my new found friend...Central Park.  I had only been once before, in the summer, but was not able to appreciate all the beauty the park had to offer.  As I walked on the tiled like sidewalk, I began to think about how beautiful the park is going to be this summer, and not only the park, the entire city.  I am ready to take the city by storm and the summer is only going to add fuel to the fire.  So as I walk through the park, I realize that Central Park and I have more in common than I thought.  I too have shed dead leaves of regret, hurt, and disapproval from others and am budding with dreams, and ambitions that are slowly but firmly taking root in my life. And when my spring and summer arrive, I too will bloom and stand tall for the whole world to see.
