New York Fashion Week - Day 2

New York Fashion Week - Day 2

Day 2 is here and so is the cold weather. However that has not stop designers or the stylish crowd from bringing their A game. With the ending
to Superbowl and the beginning of Fashion Week, I sported a Vintage Letterman Jacket, Topshop Skirt, Steve Madden Boots and Vintage Bag.   Throughout the day there has been some amazing talent but 3 designers in particular stood out from the crowd.

 Tadashi Shoji

Tadashi Shoji was by far my favorite show for the day. The pieces were constructed perfection with intricate detailing that paid attention to the female physique by far.  Taking simple colors such as red and black the designer was able to mentally transfer you to the red carpet.  The true question is what celeb will be rocking one of his pieces to the upcoming Oscars. I guess we will just have to wait and see.

Tome

To capture simplicity while remaining chic might be hard for some but definitely not for this label. Tome was able to take basic pieces and make statement items that will forever be in your wardrobe. Although most of the pieces boasted a nude color, the pieces by far did not blend in.

Creatures of Comfort

While most of the fashion industry would argue "comfort" does not equal "stylish"  I would have to disagree after viewing this collection.  Creatures of Comfort successfully held true to its name and brand while serving sophisticated coats, plaid galore, and nontraditional yet sleek flats.
