ESSENCE hosted their sixth annual Black Women In Music event on yesterday and I was so excited to cover the fashion content. Every songstress

Wrapped in sophisticated chic, Ciara mastered a stylish black-out in this sweeping Zuhair Murad gown.  The songstress' simple straps and sultry slit keeps us wanting more of her classically daring look.

 The Glee star sported a playful graphic top with a delicate sheer paneled skirt that instantly played up her figure.  This vocalist definitely brought her A-game when it came to mixing uptown chic with downtown graphics.

The sultry songbird ruled the red carpet in a military navy yet bohemian styled gown. La Havas added a meticulous gold clutch and choker like necklace to nip the ensemble together with ease.

Oh Baby! Tamera glowed in her strapless all white  gown and stunning gold pumps.  The uneven hem and stunning strappy sandals elongated the actress figure while still stylishly playing up her best accessory of the night - her baby bump of course!
