Vintage Frock &; Jeffrey Campbell Platforms

Kicking fashion week off with Vfiles has become the new normal.  Up-and-coming designers have ripped onto the scene and of course they showed that their talents will gain the respect of not only street style gurus but the Rihanna's of the industry. So, what stood out to me?

The first brand to catch my eye was ZDDZ, designed by Dasha Selyanovacame.  Her pieces came out of the gate repping womenswear infused with a masculine twist.  This London designers interest in typography and urban graphics is clearly seen on the runway. Lastly, Tokyo based designer Kazuma Detto launched his collection in 2012, D.TT.K, which carved out a retro-futuristic niche on the cutting-edge of menswear. Menswear indeed, but I would definitely snatch up a piece or two....or three.  By the look of things this fashion week will be one to remember. Stay tune!
